Here's an overview of the snow-clad paradise in the mountains of Salzburg and of the whole "Tauernrunde" tour.
In Obertauern, you need neither car nor ski bus. Cable railway, chair lifts and rope tows will take you anywhere you want to go; from the ski hire shop to the hairdressers, from the shops to the nursery, or from the post office to the authentic "Hüttenjause" (mountain hut cuisine).

On Saturday, December 15th 2012, 16th of March 2013 and on the 20th of April 2013 Obertauern offers a special deal to all skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts – the „Tauern Skiingday“!
The 1-day-liftpass for adults costs EUR 20,-- only.
The 1-day-liftpass for children costs EUR 10,-- only.
When buying a multiple day liftpass or a liftpass for a week, which include the „Tauern Skiingday“, the reduced price for this day is considered in the total price.
