Winter vacations with guaranteed snow: Obertauern is Austria's snowiest winter sports destination, with snowfall coming from the north and the south.

Obertauern is located 1,630 metres above sea level and rises to 2,313 metres. The perfect location for skiers: blue, red, and black pistes, as well as lots of open space for freeriding. The Obertauern ski resort comprises 26 ski lifts and cable car facilities. The Gamsleiten 2, one of Europe's steepest pistes at 45°, offers the ultimate kick.

With special family packages and unique skiing experiences for kids, the local mascot, "Bobby", welcomes all families to Obertauern. One thing applies to everyone on a winter holiday: Ski In, Ski Out – the car stays put in Obertauern, and the slopes are directly accessible from your accommodation.
