Skiopening Obertauern 2025 – Two weekends. Two concerts!

When the first snow falls, the mountains sparkle in white, and the slopes of Obertauern come back to life, it’s time for the start of winter – and in 2025, it’s going to be something truly special! We're kicking off the ski season with a musical double highlight like never before: On November 28, Seiler und Speer will set the town center buzzing with their iconic songs. Just one week later, on December 5, the celebrated Austropop duo Edmund will deliver emotional goosebump moments amid the snowy mountain scenery.

Edmund: Soulful Austropop with Viennese Charm

On December 5, Edmund will take the stage at the Ö3 concert against the stunning mountain backdrop of Obertauern. With songs like “Freindschoft” and “Leiwand,” they bring heartfelt lyrics in authentic Viennese dialect and a powerful dose of emotion to the snowy alpine setting.
