3-LAKE HIKE AROUND OBERTAUERN | 10 AM TO 2 PM

Grab your hiking boots – it's time for a dreamlike family tour through the breathtaking mountain world around Obertauern! Starting from the mountain pass, you'll hike through the stunning nature reserve to the sparkling Grünwaldsee. The trail continues over the Hochalm to the Krummschnabelsee, and then on to the cosy Dikt’n Alm. With a bit of luck, you might spot some marmots (locally known as "Mankei") or hear their distinctive whistling. Your final highlight: the idyllic Hundsfeldsee. After that, the trail gently leads you back to the heart of Obertauern. A true nature experience for young and old alike!

PONY EXPERIENCE IN TWENG | 11.30 AM TO 1 PM

Today in Tweng, everything revolves around adorable four-legged playmates. Your children will learn how to interact with ponies, how to care for them properly, and of course, what they are allowed to eat. Afterwards, it's off to the riding arena, where each child can enjoy a few trial rounds in the saddle. Please bring long pants, sturdy shoes, and, if possible, a helmet or bicycle helmet for your child.

INTRODUCTORY LESSONS AT THE TRIAL PARK | 10 AM TO 11 AM

We can prove our skills on a bike or a motorbike every Wednesday in the Trial Park. This sport is especially suitable for children and young people who enjoy biking. Basic cycling skills are necessary.

HERBAL WALK with nini | 10 AM TO NOON

Which edible herbs grow in Obertauern? Experience Obertauern’s wide range of meadow herbs and learn how to use them in the kitchen for your health and personal care.

MOUNTAIN YOGA with nini | 4.30 PM TO 5.30 PM

Together, we will find our centre through regenerative movements, controlled breathing, and Obertauern’s calming nature.

SURVIVAL-HIKING | 10 AM TO 00:30 PM

In this adventurous workshop, you'll learn to understand the language of nature and work in harmony with it. How do you plan a mountain tour? How do you find your way in the wilderness? What’s edible in the wild, how do you overcome natural obstacles, and how can you start a fire? Together with your children, you'll also observe which animals live in the area and how they behave. This workshop is packed with practical tips, exciting discoveries, and a genuine wilderness vibe – perfect for adventurers of all ages!

Meeting point: Grünwaldkopf Talstation (Cablecar station)

ALPINE ROPES COURSE | 1 PM TO 3 PM

Here, the whole family learns how to use climbing equipment playfully. Prove your courage and skill in the child-friendly high ropes course under the supervision of qualified climbing guides as you enjoy the magnificent panorama.

WE ARE BUILDING A BASECAMP | 10 AM TO 00:30 PM

Together with you, we set off for the wild gorge near Untertauern – and along the way, we’ll learn how to build a simple shelter in nature using basic techniques and a bit of team spirit. A workshop for adventurers and those who want to become one, perfect for the whole family.

Meeting point: Wildpark - Untertauern 

NATURE HIKE | 10.30 AM TO 12.30 PM

Join us on a special family hike and discover how water and valleys shape life in the mountains! Together, you’ll explore the wild Twenger Lantschfeld – a true natural gem just waiting to be discovered. The starting and ending point is the municipal office in Tweng. From there, the circular trail leads to the impressive Tenn Waterfall and back again – a nature experience for young and old alike!

E-BIKE TOUR IN OBERTAUERN | 10 AM TO NOON

Visit extraordinary places with the help of motorised bicycles! We’ll meet directly at the bike shop to choose the right e-bike for you. Then, we’ll head off toward the mountain lift stations in the surrounding area. The exact route will be selected based on the participants’ skill level and fitness. 

Children aged 10 and above may participate in the e-bike tour only if accompanied by a parent or if they have written permission from a legal guardian.
