In Obertauern, the mountain landscape is characterised by a multitude of bodies of water. Along the hiking trails, 11 mountain lakes, a majestic waterfall and numerous mountain streams line the path and offer inviting resting places. For hikers who want to escape the heat, the mountain lakes are a refreshing companion along the way. There is hardly anything more beautiful than a break on the shore of a mountain lake, surrounded by the impressive natural scenery of the mountains.
