FUN & GAMES AT THE FAMILY MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL IN OBERTAUERN!
Whether young or old, there is something for everyone at the family festival. The breathtaking mountain world of Obertauern offers a dreamlike setting for unforgettable experiences.
After the ride with the Grünwaldkopf cable car, a varied program awaits. From fun games and action-packed stations for children to cozy activities for adults, there will be something for everyone. The highlights of the day will surely be the various stations of the free supporting program. These range from crate climbing to a spectacular zip line to laser biathlon. In the E-Trial Park, skills on two wheels can be demonstrated. For a cozy break, the Hochalm, the Diktnalm, the Kringsalm, and the valley station invite you along the way.
In case of bad weather, the event will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2026.
To ensure perfect supervision of the varied and interactive stations, the Obertauern Fire Department, the Ski Club Obertauern, the Obertauern Mountain Rescue, Skiworld, the TVB Obertauern, as well as the staff of the Grünwaldkopf & Kringsalm cable car and many others are at your service.
All participating clubs and organizations look forward to a great mountain festival with you.

Important Notes & Information
🚗 No Access by Private Car
Access to the event area by private car is not permitted on the day of the event. Please use the Grünwaldkopfbahn or Kringsalmbahn cable cars in Obertauern to reach the venue comfortably and safely. The main departure point is the Grünwaldkopfbahn valley station, with the Kringsalmbahn valley station available as an alternative.
🚠 Cable Car Ticket Not Included
The ascent and descent with the Grünwaldkopfbahn or Kringsalmbahn are not included in the event admission and require a separate ticket.
👨👩👧 Parental Responsibility
Parents and legal guardians are responsible for supervising their children throughout the event. Please take extra care, especially at the activity and play stations.

Participation in the event and the use of all attractions are at your own risk. The organiser accepts no liability for accidents, personal injury or damage to property, except where required by law.
🌦️ Weather-Related Changes
As the event takes place outdoors in the mountains of Obertauern, the programme may be subject to changes, postponements or cancellations due to weather conditions. We recommend wearing suitable outdoor clothing.
