The Open Faces Obertauern FWT Challenger is the fourth of six crucial contests this season – a pivotal moment in the battle for valuable points and the chance to advance to the Freeride World Tour.
Obertauern offers terrain with numerous face options, providing perfect conditions for a demanding Challenger competition. The planned venue is once again the Hundskogel, which hosted the Challenger event in 2024 and, with its versatility, offers ideal conditions for spectacular performances.

In the large event village, visitors can expect an atmospheric live viewing and musical entertainment from DJ Bademeister and DJ Saender. And, as is customary in Obertauern, the party continues afterward – it’s known as one of the places where sporting action and legendary nightlife seamlessly blend together.
Obertauern once again proves its versatility and its role as the ideal venue for top-class freeride events.
