Always something happening in Obertauern
From the legendary Ski Opening to the cozy Tauern Advent to Austria's largest treasure hunt in the snow – there is always something going on in Obertauern. Whether summer or winter, the events in Obertauern are like the place itself – exciting, varied, and unforgettable.
Save the date
With Die Fantastischen Vier and Anastacia, two top acts are set to provide an unforgettable start to the new winter season. When the first snowflakes fall and Obertauern is blanketed in winter white, the start of the winter season is just around the corner. From 27 November to 8 December 2026, Skiopening Week will once again be the musical highlight of the winter. Look forward to spectacular concerts in the heart of the mountains.
