Winter holidays with snow guarantee – because here the snowfalls come from the south and the north, Obertauern is the snowiest winter sports destination in Austria.

Obertauern starts at 1,630 meters altitude and reaches up to 2,313 meters. Skiers will find everything here: blue, red and black slopes and of course plenty of off-piste terrain for freeriders. 26 cable car and lift facilities are arranged for the Obertauern ski circuit. The ultimate thrill is on the Gamsleiten 2, with 45° one of the steepest slopes in Europe.

The local mascot "Bobby" welcomes families with special family arrangements and special ski experiences for children. And for everyone one thing applies on winter holidays: Ski-In Ski-Out – the car stays parked in Obertauern, the slopes are directly accessible from the accommodations.
