SKI OPENING WEEK 2026

Pioneers, legends, icons – and for the season opener in Obertauern: The Skiopening Week 2026 kicks off the 26/27 winter season with one of the most important acts in German music history. Die Fantastischen Vier – Smudo, Thomas D, Michi Beck, and And.Ypsilon – have been the flagship of German-language hip-hop for over three decades and will come to Obertauern on 28 November 2026.

In 1991, the Stuttgart-based group released "Jetzt Geht’s Ab," the first German-language hip-hop album – the foundation for an entire genre. A year later came "Die da!?!?", the first German-language rap track to storm the Top Ten charts and play on continuous rotation on the radio. What followed is music history: hits like "MFG," "Troy," "Sie ist weg," "Tag am Meer," or "Zusammen" became the soundtrack of entire generations. Over four decades, more than a thousand concerts, and countless chart-topping hits later, Die Fantastischen Vier are still the same four originals who helped hip-hop break through in Germany.

Tip: On 4 December, Anastacia will provide the grand finale. With her unmistakable voice and world-famous hits, she will appropriately close the week in Obertauern. A real highlight to conclude the Skiopening Week Obertauern that you definitely should not miss.
