Starting May 1, 2025, enjoy free use of all public transport within Salzburg Verkehr!

As a guest in Obertauern, Untertauern, or Tweng, you’ll receive a complimentary Guest Mobility Ticket with your stay. This ticket gives you unlimited access to all Salzburg Verkehr public transport services for the entire duration of your holiday.

The Guest Mobility Ticket offers a simple and eco-friendly mobility solution. Whether city or regional bus, S-Bahn, regional or long-distance train, or one of the Salzburg Verkehr shuttles – with this ticket, you can travel flexibly and free of charge throughout the whole SalzburgerLand.

The offer will be available during an introductory phase from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2027 – making your holiday in Obertauern even more relaxed and sustainable.

How do I get my ticket?

The ticket is issued directly at check-in at the accommodation. As a guest, you will receive a printout, PDF or wallet version without having to install additional apps.

Where is the ticket valid?

The Guest Mobility Ticket Salzburg is valid for all public transport in the province of Salzburg during your entire stay. This includes city and regional bus services, suburban trains, regional and long-distance trains and micro public transport.

Can you buy the ticket if you are not staying in any accommodation?

No, the Guest Mobility Ticket is intended exclusively for overnight guests. It is not available for purchase, but is automatically collected via the mobility fee (€ 0.50 per night) together with the local tax and issued directly by the accommodation.

This means that anyone not staying in accommodation in SalzburgerLand cannot purchase the ticket separately.

Is it possible to travel to and from the event by public transport free of charge?

Free arrival and departure by train or bus from the Salzburg provincial border – pre check-in before your arrival is required. Ask at your booked accommodation.

Is it possible to bring dogs?

Dogs can be brought along – one dog per person is free of charge.

Do children also get a ticket?

Yes, children also travel free of charge – ideal for relaxed family excursions!
