"Alles Alm" adventure trail
Nestled in the impressive panorama of the Radstadt Tauern, halfway between Radstadt and Obertauern, lies the alpine meadow of the Gnadenalm, far away from traffic noise. Here, the “Alles Alm” family adventure trail offers entertaining hiking fun for the whole family. The stroller-friendly paths lead beautifully through wide meadows and fenced play stations. It feels as if time has stood still.
“Alles Alm” offers insights into the hard but also happy lives of the people who lived on the Gnadenalm in times gone by. At ten themed stations, visitors can discover true stories, curiosities, and interesting facts about life on the alpine pasture, the natural environment, and the many animals. The starting point and final stop is the viewing tower at the large Swiss pine, from where visitors can slide into the fun. This is also where the fun alpine quiz begins.

The circular trail starts directly at the Gnadenalm. Limited parking spaces are available there (public transport by bus is recommended). From there, follow the signposted forest path to the Hintergnadenalmen and the Johannes Waterfall.
Depending on how much time you want to spend at each station. If you plan around 2 hours, you can enjoy each station at a leisurely pace.
The stroller-friendly circular route is approximately 5 kilometers long and includes a total of 50 meters of elevation.

Between the individual hiking sections, visitors can engage with a variety of entertaining topics related to alpine life in a fun and interactive way, relax at comfortable themed rest areas, and enjoy the beautiful views. Children can run around to their heart’s content, balance on an oversized rake and scythe, visit the marmot family in the marmot burrow, or test their skills on the “cow-spot jump” course, among many other activities. “Alles Alm” is free of charge and ideal for a half-day excursion. Numerous rustic alpine huts invite visitors to stop and relax, and for those who want even more, the impressive Johannes Waterfall can also be viewed up close.
Arrival & Parking
Since the Gnadenalm has only limited parking options, it is recommended to arrive by public transport.
As a guest in Obertauern, Untertauern or Tweng, you will receive a free ticket (Guest Mobility Ticket) for the duration of your stay, which allows you to use all public transport within the Salzburg Transport network throughout your entire visit.
