Motorbike Route 99

Motorcycle adventures on the legendary B99 highway from Bischofshofen through Obertauern to Spittal an der Drau. This 114 km road is steeped in history: between 1519 and 1530, the first carriage road over the Radstadt Tauern (Obertauern) was established, handling a large portion of goods transport between Salzburg (salt mines) and Venice.

It’s a beautiful, scenic, toll-free road with many facets. The highest point is in Obertauern at 1,740 meters. It's well worth stopping to take it all in!
