Full Moon Swim Obertauern 2025 – a spectacular summer highlight!
On August 9, 2025, the Grünwaldsee in Obertauern became the stage for an unforgettable experience: the Full Moon Swim. In glorious mountain weather and with a refreshing water temperature of 12 degrees, more than 200 brave participants plunged into the crystal-clear alpine lake – accompanied by the magical light of the full moon, which cast a silver shimmer over the water.
Franky Leitner provided top-class entertainment, captivating the audience with music and lively hosting. One absolute highlight was the spectacular E-Foil show, which mesmerized everyone and left amazed faces along the shore.
Culinary delights came in the form of an excellent fish soup prepared by Alexander Huber – the perfect treat after a swim. Those seeking even more warmth could enjoy the heated hot tubs or saunas while taking in the stunning mountain scenery of Obertauern.
