A treatise on horse-riding might begin with the most well-worn of all quotes: ‘The greatest happiness on this earth is horseback ridingk.’ An old saying, perhaps heard and cited too often, but it is true. Give it a go. It works. Your happiness level increases the instant you sit on a horse, or are in a carriage being drawn by a horse – with or without that well-worn saying in your mind.
Tweng’s Lantschfeld and Noriker horses
A few tips to kick-start your bliss and happiness – one option might be to ride through the dreamy (in the truest sense of the word) conservation area of Lantschfeld in Tweng. There is also a guided tour of the stables for horse-riding fans from June to September where you get to see the Noriker horses and the riding area. You can get interesting insights here, it is absolutely free and you do not have to register in advance. The guided tour takes place every Monday at 10am and lasts 30 – 45 minutes. Horse-riding fans will be more than glad they came here.
